Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, is a charming hill station known for its colonial architecture, scenic landscapes, and pleasant weather. The Ridge, a popular promenade in the heart of Shimla, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The Mall Road is another bustling spot where visitors can indulge in shopping for local handicrafts and enjoy delectable Himachali cuisine. The historic Viceregal Lodge and Jakhoo Temple are must-visit landmarks that showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region.

A few hours' drive from Shimla leads to Manali, a picturesque town situated along the banks of the Beas River. Manali is renowned for its snow-capped peaks, lush greenery, and vibrant culture. Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass near Manali, is a gateway to the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys. It offers breathtaking panoramic views and is a hotspot for adventure activities such as skiing and snowboarding during the winter months. Solang Valley, another gem near Manali, is a haven for adventure seekers with activities like paragliding and zorbing.

Rohtang Pass, a captivating destination situated at an altitude of 3,978 meters, is a highlight of Himachal tours. The pass connects Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys and is renowned for its pristine snow-capped landscapes. Travelers can experience a thrilling drive to Rohtang, witnessing the beauty of the Beas River, lush valleys, and towering peaks. The pass remains open from May to November, and during this period, it attracts tourists with its snow-covered terrain, making it a surreal winter wonderland.

 

Itinerary

Day 1

On arrival at Chandigarh International airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to a chauffeur driven vehicle. Later you are driven to the hotel for check in. (Early check in subject to availability & under the sole discretion of the hotel only) Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by modernist architect Le Corbusier. His modernist buildings include the Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, plus the giant Open Hand Monument. Afternoon proceed for a sightseeing tour of Chandigarh. Rock garden, a park featuring sculptures made of stones, recycled creamics and made by using a variety of different discarded waste materials like frames, mudguards, forks, handle bars, metal wires, play marbles, porcelain, auto parts, broken bangles etc. Later visit Sukhna lake which is a beautiful manmade lake that lies in the foothills of Shivalik range & Le Corbusier centre Chandigarh.

Day 2

After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Shimla. Enroute visit Pinjore gardens. Shimla, the former summer capital of British India and now capital of Himachal Pradesh. Set amidst the snowcapped Shivalik mountain ranges it offers some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Upon arrival check in at your hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast proceed for an excursion tour of Kufri, a popular ski resort in winters, which offers some stunning mountain views. Visit Indira Tourist Park at Chini Bunglow & Himalayan Wildlife Zoo. [Guest can enjoy pony ride & adventure activities in Kufri on direct payment basis] Afternoon drive back to Shimla and proceed for half day sightseeing tour of ‘City beautiful’ covering Jakhoo temple, & Library and Indian Institute of Advance studies (IIAS). Evening visit Scandal Corner, Mall road & Ridge.

Day 4

After breakfast drive to the starting point of Tara Devi top with rich flora and fauna. Enjoy a 2 hours trek through a dense forest to reach the high point 1851 Meters for excellent views of Shimla town. After enjoying the hill station, descend the hill and drive back to the resort.

Day 5

After breakfast check out from the resort and drive to Manali enroute crossing Kullu town. Arrive at Manali and check in to the resort. Manali is located in the ancient Kullu valley, surrounded by towering peaks at an arm’s length. Balance of the day you are at leisure.

Day 6

fter breakfast proceed to visit Rohtang pass (Up to Snow line during winter/due to heavy snowfall), which simply offers panoramic view of mountains rising far above the clouds. Afternoon visit the Solang valley (a famous picnic spot & ski resort in winter). Enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding (in Winters), Rope way ride and Paragliding (at your own/ extra cost). **Rohtang / snow point visit directly payable by guest Subject to prior permission and weather conditions ( Nov to April Closed and closed on every Tuesday)

Day 7

After breakfast proceed to visit the Naggar Castle and Roriech art Gallery. Afternoon drive back to Manali and visit the Club House, Tibetan monastery and Vashisht village, known for its hot Sulpher springs.

Day 8

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Manikaran (Hot water spring) and Kasol valley. Drive back to Manali after the visit. Enroute visit Kullu town. You can also enjoy whitewater rafting in the river Beas and Paragliding (extra cost applicable). Arrive at Manali and check in to the hotel.

Day 9

After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Chandigarh, Arrive at Chandigarh and check-in to the hotel.

Day 10

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh airport to board the flight your onward destination. Our services end after dropping you at Chandigarh airport.
